In my 17 years with Summit Service Group, Inc., the biggest change that I have seen is that everyone, and I do mean everyone is much busier than they ever have been.
There are consequences to this.
First, it creates more stress on both the employee and those they have to work with, which includes internal and external contacts.
Second, this leads to many lower priority tasks getting delayed or not done at all.
Third, even higher priority tasks are getting delayed and this causes a lot of stress for those around the employee.
Everyone I talk to agrees that this is what is going on. I wish that I could wave a magic wand and fix this, but we all know that is not possible. I also wish that I could teach others the ways to fix this, but my time machine and my cloning machine are broken and I cannot get parts for them!
